Breed Display 2006 Indiana State Fair
[July 05, 2006]
At the request of the Indiana State Fair, the Indiana Sheep Association is again sponsoring and organizing a breed display on the last Sunday of the Fair, August 20, 2006. The primary purpose of the display is to allow fairgoers to see the variety of sheep breeds that are raised in Indiana. A second purpose is to insure that the Sheep Barn has plenty of animals through the last day of the fair. This year we plan to have all breeds displayed in the same area and will have a breed parade in the show ring Sunday afternoon. The breed display is open to any breed, whether or not the breed is shown during the fair. Exhibitors can set up on Sunday morning or Saturday evening and will be released Sunday evening. There is no entry fee. If you would like further information or would consider participating in the breed display, please contact David Day at (317) 776-9210 or via email to drdcreek@yahoo.com.
